One lives in “jiang hu”, you can't always do as you like

In this age of doom, if a teacher would like to train his students to be a five star distinction achiever (120%) , then the teacher has to instruct the student to run around “jiang hu”! In the ancient era,those who would like to learn by wandering school,that is the meaning of running around “jiang hu” !

He was once a Departmental Manager of Hewlett Packard Malaysia. In 1987 he established his own consultant company in Malaysia. His clientele covered Asia, Europe and the United States, including many multinational companies. But such a successful entrepreneur, at the peak of career, decided to renounce and spend the rest of his life to contribute to Buddhism.

In a Buddhist practice or event, we emphasize the need to do the three main parts with mindfulness - Preliminary, Main and Concluding Part. Shifu’s Dharma Talk in Kuala Lumpur and Negeri Sembilan

On the morning of 19th February 2008, Ven. Wei Wu, accompanied by Ven. Zhen Xin and three lay devotees, made a trip down to Kuala Lumpur and Negeri Sembilan. Than Hsiang has two centers in Negeri Sembilan, namely Pajam kalyana center and Taman Makmur cultivation center. A Triple Gem refuge ceremony cum dharma-sharing session with the new practitioners was scheduled at the above two premises. In the evening at 8pm, Shifu had a gathering with the KL lay sangha at the Kajang Than Hsiang WCY and gave a dharma lecture.
