The Death Anniversary of Venerable Bo Yuan

March 15 of the lunar calendar was the death anniversary of Ven. Bo Yuan. Than Hsiang Temple held the Noon Offering at 10:15 am on 23rd April 2024, headed by Ven. Wei Wu, amid chanting by devotees in the main Shrine Hall on the 6th floor.

Ven. Wei Wu received the teachings of Ven. Bo Yuan. Ven Bo Yuan had offered great advice and encouragement in the building of Than Hsiang Temple ，establishment of the Free Clinic, the founding of the International Buddhist College, and providing welfare and social educational work to the public. After the old folks home was established, Ven. Bo Yuan named the home as" Wan Ching Yuen".

After the Noon Offering , everyone proceeded to the Ancestral Hall for the chanting of the Amitabha Sutra.
The ceremony ended successfully with solemn chanting.
