How to Play DVD/VCD/MP3 in Ubuntu 7.04

1, Play DVD in Ubuntu 7.04

From Terminal, copy and paste (one by one):

wget -q http://medibuntu.sos-sts.com/repo/medibuntu-key.gpg -O- | sudo apt-key add -

sudo wget http://medibuntu.sos-sts.com/sources.list.d/feisty.list -O /etc/apt/sources.list.d/medibuntu.list

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install libdvdcss2

sudo apt-get install w32codecs

sudo apt-get install ogle

sudo apt-get install ogle-gui

Restart your PC

Start Ogle to play your DVD

Applications --> Sound & Video -->Ogle

2, Play VCD in Ubuntu 7.04

From Terminal, copy and paste (one by one):

sudo apt-get install vcdtools
sudo apt-get install libxine-extracodecs
sudo apt-get install libxine-main1

From Applications menu choose Add/Remove
Install: gxine

Open Gxine,
Choose VCD0 to play (vcd 2)

or Choose VCD to pay old VCD (vcd 1) 

3. Play MP3 in Ubuntu 7.04

From Applications menu choose Add/Remove
Install: XMMS

4. CD DVD burner in Ubuntu

From Applications menu choose Add/Remove
Install: ksb
