Than Hsiang kindergarten has began it recruitment drive for 2008 new intake. New intake will be exempted from registration fee and also be presented with free school bags and VCD. Registration is now open for children born in 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005.

Than Hsiang kindy classes comprise: 1. Playgroup, 2. Nursery, 3. Kindy I and 4. Kindy II. of both Chinese and English medium. The day care(half and full day) and the before and after school care services are also available for the convenience of the working parents.

Than Hsiang kindy offers an attractive curriculum; besides complying with the directive of the ministry of education in its syllabus we also adopt various extra-curricular activities such as singing and games, creative handy craft, reciting of “Heart Sutra”, reading of “Di Tze Gui”(the standards for being a good students and child) and the teaching of “the ten good deeds” which will lead to the cultivation of the traditional core values of filial piety and respect for elders. Other programmes such as outings, holiday camps, birthday celebration, parents day, Buddha day, mid-spring festivals, singing contest, graduation ceremony and concert are some of the events held annually.

All our classrooms are air-conditioned to facilitate a conducive learning ambient. The children will also be taught basic computer knowledge and application. In addition, children are also trained to wash their own utensils in a specially designed friendly washing area as part of independent training.

The recreation area is equipped with slides, see-saw, sand play area, a mini swimming pool and etc.
